Welcome to our Web site! Rideout's Transmission was founded by Milton (Red) Rideout in the early 1950's. Even though it was a general repair shop, transmissions were his specialty even then. We are a third generation, family owned business. Operating in the same location for well over 55 years. We repair most makes and models, automatic and standard, foreign and domestic, two and four wheel drive, front and rear wheel drive, and overdrive. We have the latest equipment and technology for testing and repairing computer controlled transmissions and transaxles. GoalsOur goal is the same as it was in the 50's. Two blocks west of Tekoppel Ave. Between Hogue Rd. and Upper Mt. Vernon Rd. DirectionsFrom North and South, take Hwy 41 to Lloyd Expressway. Then follow East directions From East, take the Lloyd Expressway West to Rosenberger, (the west side Kolhs is there). It is the next traffic light after you pass St. Joseph Ave. and Bristol Myers Squibb. Turn right on Rosenberger (There is a McDonalds on the northwest corner and a Burger King on the southwest corner). Then follow final instructions. From West, take Lloyd Expressway West past U.S.I. Campus to Rosenberger (There is a McDonalds on the northwest corner), Turn Left on Rosenberger. Then follow final instructions. Final Instructions, There is a McDonalds and a Thorntons quick mart at Rosenberger. Take Rosenberger to the stop sign, This is Hogue Rd. Bob's Gym is on the left and Kohls is on the right. Turn right on Hogue Rd. and go two blocks to Woods Ave. Turn left on Woods Ave. and we are 3/4 of the way down the block on the left. Look for our sign on the left hand side at the corner of our drive. Member of the Better Business Bureau I did have a link for you to view our BBB report, but they called and told me that I am not allowed to do that without paying them an additional fee. So please check out our report by going to their website to look it up. Sorry for the inconvenience. I've been a member of the BBB for as long as I can remember and this was shocking to me. I would think they would want the consumer to be able to view our report as easily as possible.
